Phase One Development Continues Strong Into 2026

Garden Homes progress in December 2025

The Board was pleased to announce in late February 2026, that the Phase One development of Garden Homes (Duplexes) is over 50% sold.

The Board was pleased to announce in late February, that the Phase One development of Garden Homes (Duplexes) has been over 50% sold. As construction commences into 2026, the originally proposed Phase One crescent of six Duplexes, totalling twelve residential units, continues to take shape. Timelines have been on track according to schedule, and the Board continues to monitor progress of construction closely.

Anticipation is building for the first official homeowners of Pennock Village to take up residence in their new homes, scheduled for late spring & early summer. This past March, an informal meet and greet was conducted among the first 7 homebuyers, both couples & singles, to introduce them to each other and their new surroundings. This included a full in-person tour of Garden Home 222, as well as of the other three homes that are in various stages of completion, by Board Chair, James Collie.

March 21, 2026 | An informal meet and greet was conducted for the first 7 homebuyers, both couples & singles, introducing them to each other and their soon-to-be new homes.

“The construction has moved along well over the last nine months, with all of the subcontractors doing their part in making progress towards the construction of the first four homes. Everyone is excited to see the first residents start living in their units, while also looking towards the construction of subsequent units very soon,” commented Collie.

Phase Two development of Pennock Village will be a continuation of the construction of Garden Homes. Villas (Townhomes) are planned to commence in Phase Three, however, if there is sufficient interest they may begin construction sooner, in spring 2027.

And, as construction plans continue into 2026 and further along into 2027, the Priority Waitlist continues to grow with the addition of potential residents who are interested in residing at Pennock Village. The Waitlist is specified for individuals or couples who are interested in securing a long-term retirement plan at Pennock Village, both at present or in the future. It’s never too early to join.

“It’s encouraging that people continue to step forward to become part of the Waitlist. I feel it’s very important to plan towards retirement living and the years beyond that. I’d urge all seniors to be proactive in this decision – find that good fit for you and/or your spouse, whether it’s with Pennock Village or not, before further challenges in life take hold and it becomes too late,” adds Collie.
