First Stakes Mark Visible Progression

The physical beginnings of the first set of planned Garden Homes (Duplexes) at Pennock Village have been marked.

In late March, before recent spring snowfalls hit the area, stakes were placed in the thawing ground on-site of the development’s location near Rosslyn in Oliver Paipoonge Township.

“It was a pretty special feeling to see the first signs of a Garden Home…”

– James Collie, Chair

James Collie, Chair of the Board that oversees Pennock Village, felt very fortunate to be one of the first to survey this mark towards progression.

“It was a pretty special feeling to see the first signs of a Garden Home, after over three years of working on the required paperwork for rezoning and agency approvals,” expressed Collie.

The above image indicates the corner post of Garden Home 218/216, one of two housing units scheduled to commence Phase One construction of Pennock Village this spring. The two duplexes (four residences) are planned to be fully move-in ready within the next twelve months. Full site plans can be viewed here.

To celebrate the commemorative milestone of construction startup, a Breaking Ground Ceremony is being planned for late spring. Upcoming details will be provided via our e-newsletter.
