
In addition, when looking back over the past twelve months of 2024, great feelings of achievement and pride are felt, and comfort is taken in the progress made. Here are a few accomplishments that we, the Board of Directors of Pennock Village, alongside many professional advisors and consultants, were successful in achieving throughout 2024:
• Oliver Paipoonge Township Council approval of rezoning and use of the Highway 130 property for the development of Pennock Village
• Registration of our Not-for-Profit corporation, NWO Rural Christian Seniors Village Inc. (NWORCSV), with the Province of Ontario
• Ownership taken of the property for Pennock Village, by NWORCSV
• Establishment of our mission/vision, logo, branding, website, social media & further planning of our marketing strategic
• Continuation in finalizing township conditions and approvals for construction plans to commence
• Site plan & Garden Home (Duplex) drawings finalized through local engineers & architects
• The beginnings of groundwork preparations for the 2025 build season
• The first interested buyer application and deposit submissions on Garden Homes, becoming Pennock’s first potential Residents
One thing that stands out amongst the members of our Team is the overwhelming inquiries and interest we’ve received from you, our neighbours and friends, within the community. We are deeply moved by your kind words of support and encouragement, that you share our views, and that you believe in our same vision, the development of this community ‘Village of Care’. This vision starts with believing in the possibilities!
We believe that we are well on our way to a strong, community-supported initiative through the establishment of Pennock Village. We welcome you to join us in whatever way you wish to contribute, be it financial, volunteer-based or simply by sharing our story.
